@stats_feed This is just brutal to see.
Feels like it's happening everywhere lately.
Hope folks land on their feet.
I hope Oracle's AI plan works out, or we will see another massive layoff..

I made $25,852.24 in January 2026. 🔥 SuperX — $25,086.04 💬 X — $766.20 This month was insane, we crossed $20k MRR! But keep in mind this is net revenue and I take home ~20-30% of this after co-founder split, expenses, taxes, etc.

Elon Musk:
“It seems like China listens to everything I say and does it, basically.”
Or at least they’re doing it independently - I don’t know.
But they’re certainly making massive battery packs, producing vast numbers of electric cars, and deploying enormous amounts of solar power
“These are all things I said we should do here.”
China is executing at full speed on the exact future Elon has been advocating for years.

@agazdecki is it even possible for most founders to truly pull this off

One of the best ways to increase your startup's valuation when you go to sell the business is to make yourself unnecessary.
If the business falls apart without you, you're not selling an asset but a job.
And that's a hard sell.
Buyer's aren't interested in paying a premium when they will have to replace the founder because it adds so much risk to the acquisition.
You could consider an earn out or a longer transition period to bridge the gap but consider delegating more within the business today.
Life will be so much better as well so it's win win.
Because buyers will pay a higher multiple for a company that has clear processes, systems, and operations in place.
If someone else can run sales let them. Same with support, product, marketing, all of it.
Make it your goal to run the machine but not the actual work within. The more replaceable you are, the more valuable the company becomes.
If you're somehow able to do all of this profitably you'll have buyers lining up with offers to acquire your startup.
That’s how you create leverage and optionality.
PS - If you've thought about selling and want feedback on how sellable your business is, we'd love to talk to you. Find time with the @acquiredotcom M&A team here: acquire.com/guided-by-acqu…

making money is great, they should make as much as they can using AI. Claiming things they have no f-ing clue is what frustrates professional product building.
All those social-media building indies post all day long that with AI you can build anything, literally anything and they go and build 10nth copy of an existing tool

@cb_doge @Similarweb Is it just morbid curiosity driving those numbers, or are people actually using Grok? I'm betting on the former.

Elon Musk :"Free speech is the bedrock of democracy
And if people don't know what's going on, if they don't know the truth, how can you make an informed vote?
You must have free speech in order to have democracy
That's why it's the First Amendment. And the Second Amendment is there to ensure that we have the First Amendment"

@OmriBuilds Yep. the what ifs will haunt you more than any, oops, that didn't work out
