I only want to expose the BAD guys in the movement. But, me trying to do this is being interpreted as trying to destroy the entire movement. This is one of the most disturbing things that has come out of this. If removing the frauds destroys the movement what does that mean?

Some people thought Danhausen’s WWE debut was a Gobbledy Gooker moment. Turned out it wasn’t. But if Jelly Roll is his partner at Backlash - that will be.

@jimmyvan Sadly, they don’t care. As long as they can generate revenue from TV rights, streaming deals, and ad placement, they’re not going to care too much about the actual product. The soul is slowly being stripped from WWE, and this is what we get.

I understand the realities of business, especially with a public company. You have to show growth every quarter for your shareholders, and sometimes you have to make hard decisions to help you achieve that. My problem with this WWE pay cut news is the optics; asking a contracted talent to take less money months after it was revealed that TKO executives received compensation packages in the tens of millions, leaves a bad taste in everybody's mouth. Add to that, raising ticket prices to the point that you price out families; announcing WrestleMania in a new locale, then going back to Vegas which nobody wanted, due to site fees and tax credits; using your clout to get creative decisions made involving your celebrity friends, again which nobody wanted. All of it, just makes for bad optics. The "vocal minority" online is larger than TKO thinks it is - remember the #WeWantCody movement? TKO will alienate WWE's most devoted fans, and they will *not* be successful in replacing them with Jelly Roll or Pat McAfee followers.

@WrestleTalk_TV I mean…what’s he going to design? @TKOGrp is so cheap that there isn’t a budget for Sn actual stage design.

@_kennythoughts I enjoyed the main event and how it ended. I find it crazy that most people wanted a fairy tell ending with Cody raising the title and pyro going off. I felt like Cody getting punted was going to happen with or without McAfee.

Mania weekend is one of those weekends I think I have it out with the IWC the most. Perception is reality. I think if you go into an event expecting it to suck? It’ll be just that. My core group of friends liked Night 1 of WrestleMania! To the point where we were asking if the IWC even saw the same event we did. Doesn’t have to mean we feel it was a 5 star event. But it damn sure wasn’t as bad as some of the comments I’ve seen. Mainly the main event. I feel so many are just like “ah I hated that” as opposed to me who’s more curious about what it all meant. To me? It was kind of obvious somewhere along the way that Orton flipped to working baby and Cody was working as a heel. But seemingly the end they kind of switched back? Mainly? Whether it’s WrestleMania, ALL IN, Wrestle Kingdom? I think sometimes it’s just nice to not have to be critical and enjoy the spectacle.

Why would “heel referee” Pat McAfee with a bias towards Randy Orton stop the count and prevent Randy from winning just because Cody kicked out? He’s a HEEL referee.

@left2reigns The match was great. I didn’t mind the ending, especially if they’re going to continue the feud. Would you rather have Cody end the night with the belt raised and pyro going off? I prefer Randy punting Cody’s head off, especially if they’re going to keep the feud going.

Am I the only one who liked this match 🤔 I actually loved how they smartly removed Pat McAfee and Jelly Roll from the equation and even broke the Randy–Pat alliance. And we finally got to see the real Randy again… someone who doesn’t need anyone and can do everything on his own. #wrestlemania

Is it true the wrestling commentary bubble thinks the McAfee WrestleMania storyline is a disaster? I’m like 3x more likely to watch because of it…would have skipped night one entirely otherwise
