We all do. It would take years and may not work with the SC working for him. He could be dead from CHF/kidney failure/dementia in a few months. How many years do you think he has. I think it’s under a year. Could I be wrong? Of course. But I don’t believe trying to convict him at this point is likely to prove successful.
Robert Mewller@MewllerRobert

@TrueFactsStated No. I want to see the bastard broke and imprisoned, at the very least. “Rewarding criminal behavior” doesn’t make sense to me.

The racists on the left are desperately trying to make this tweet about skin color rather than patriotism. Shameful.

Wow. Spencer Pratt sounds just like Trump: fake victimhood, nonstop grievance, speaking in superlatives like its wisdom. And folks are falling for it. People just need to admit they don’t want honesty. They want a charismatic con man who tells them what they want to hear while picking their pockets.

huffpost.com/entry/released… “At least 15 cases of sexual assaults, including rape. Shot with rubber bullets at close range. Tens of people’s bones broken,” organizers of the Global SumudFlotilla posted on the Telegram social media app. “While the world’s eye is trained on the suffering of our participants, we cannot emphasize enough that this is a mere glimpse of the brutality Israel imposes daily on Palestinian hostages.”

@NobletStrength This is not true in Southern California. High school soccer means nothing compared to club and many clubs wouldn’t allow kids to do HS soccer. It’s a shame.

I've said it before. The future of American youth soccer is school soccer. Middle School and High School soccer needs to be grown into a legitimate outlet for players. Culturally, most kids and families already see High School soccer as bigger than club soccer. Why fight it?
Adam Clinch@Adam__Clinch

The US has been so focused on acting like Europe regarding club, we've slept hard on how much we could be leveraging what we have that they don't, and that's high school ball & the unique connection people feel to their school & community. You'll never ever see this for club.

Trump has gone golfing 14 times since the Iran War started. He has spent umpteen hours obsessing over every Republican who ever crossed him, over his ballroom, his arch, his reflecting pool renovation. But his oldest son gets married and it's "I have a thing called Iran" lol
Aaron Rupar@atrupar

Q: Are you attending your son's wedding this weekend? TRUMP: Uhhhh. He'd like me to go. I'm gonna try and make it. I said, 'This is not good timing for me. I have a thing called Iran and other things.'

Trump’s “weaponization fund” and ban on future IRS audits is his latest impeachable offense: using the machinery of government and billions in taxpayer dollars to reward allies, pay off insurrectionists, and shield himself, his family, and associates from accountability. This is exactly the kind of corruption and abuse of public trust the Framers feared most. Impeach now.

That 40% rate is on ADJUSTED GROSS INCOME, which is not how extreme wealth is accumulated. You are deliberately confusing people because you’re a greedy psychopath only interested in the scoreboard. Billionaires are a scourge on humanity. Fuck you & your cardboard wife.
Jeff Bezos@JeffBezos

Yes, the United States has the most progressive tax system in the world. The top 1% pay 40% of taxes, the bottom 50% pay 3% of taxes. We can make it even more progressive by zeroing out taxes on the bottom half. It’s a small amount of the total tax revenue but very meaningful to people in this group.

@JeremiahDJohns I don't think it's just the crisis. Spanish unemployment has been a constant since the end of the dictatorship. It's structural. A rigid legal framework+lower productivity growth+incentives to keep firms small+1000s of other things led to 10% unemployment being a fantastic data.

I don't want to blame someone for being young and asking questions, but holy shit the idea that this is even a question. * Unemployment hit 10%. Stayed above 7% for four straight years * 10M people lost their homes * The banking system came close to total, catastrophic failure * We didn't gain back all the lost jobs for six years * Stock market declined by 57% * Global trade declined 10% Comparing right now to then is just...

Spencer Pratt is not qualified to run Los Angeles. He's not even qualified to run a Starbucks. He has never had a job in his life beyond reality tv. All of his ventures failed miserably. He can not manage his own finances. He can not rebuild his house because he blew all of his money on an extravagant lifestyle he couldn't afford.

@shawngorham @ContrarianSaver Having over $10m might be hoarding but anything less than that is protection for the future, which could involve a nursing home that costs &12k /month each. Unless adult children are willing to care for aging parents, it’s risky to not have enough for a good place to live.

I forget who said it but a post said "buying my 30 year old daughter with 3 kids a mini van has a bigger impact in her life than $300,000 when I am dead" (something like that) I have never stopped thinking about it and will use that as a compass as my kids get married, have kids, buy houses etc.
DOQ@doqholliday

If you're a boomer in your 60s and 70s and you own property and are well off but your children are struggling and can't even buy a home, what the hell are you doin? Your time is over. It's their time. Help them. Be a good parent, do whatever it is you need to do... sell the house if you need to, give them some kickbacks to help buy their first home, etc. Life is short. Be a good parent and don't squat on stuff that doesn't matter. Give them their time.
