@illscience Agreed: - This product was NOT tested enough before launch, this is obvious by the poor communications that an IDE still existed, token resets, etc - Google is coming around here, but definitely behind - See if connecting to the GCP MCP helps - The models NEED tuning

I want to love antigravity 2 but it's underwhelming. A few notes after playing with it for the week: - The integration with nano banana 2 is fragile. You have to constantly remind the agent to use NB2 + the generation quality feels lower than doing it standalone. - Codex and Cursor both outshine AG2 on various dimensions - Codex's computer use functionality is killer and Cursor has a better UI for multi-agent development + better browser integration for closing the development loop. - Hilariously even it refuses to try to navigate Google Cloud Console to get an API key, apparently we need a stronger form of AGI for that. Claude in chrome did the trick though. - I wish the product was opinionated in some direction that made the tradeoffs worth using it alongside codex, cursor and claude code. But today it's just not, particularly as it's missing quality of life features like /remote and /side. Anyways here is an Electron app I asked it to generate to help me manage all my other agent coded projects in the style of Starcraft. This took way too many cycles and it's still visually disappointing imo.... Rooting for the team and I am excited to try the product again as it improves.

i haven't wrote a line in 9 months of so. i don't think I have opened an editor this year.
justadev@just_adev

@levelsio @TermiusHQ so do you write code? or you just write to Claude what do you want? ex. you want a new feature or you want a change. you just prompt or what ? or Claude is mainly the assistant here? my question mostly is how much trust you put on claude while you are on prod.

@DJSnM This is why nasa should go with blue origin for everything moon related. These things will be death traps that never work correctly bc they would rather blow stuff up and fail then slow down and do it right. I hope astronauts never have to use this thing on the moon

I slowed down and resynched the engine diagram during the booster engine restart, that's a pretty hard failure that damaged neighbours.

@Dragkonias So this a a show and I get we’re just having fun. That being said, this isn’t how psychopaths operate. Homelander was analogous to a Nazi, they should have left him to a weak and pathetic suicide - where he had the option live and pay penance but would rather die.

@BertaLovin @EScrimshaw Their back on the “the world is boiling” angle. It’s like they’ve already forgotten how important energy is Canada’s sovereignty and economy. Also, how much poor people suffer when energy prices are high. They only pretend to care for the poor.

@EScrimshaw What part of, "Albertans simply wants to develop and grow their economy" do Canadians not understand? With the exception of Newfoundland's fishing moratorium, there is no equivalent for how hard Canadians rail against Alberta's economy. Canada is a nation of retards.

If you only love your country when the rest of the country gives you exactly what you want with no pushback, you don’t love your country The 14 MPs are, in my mind, wrong, but the only coward is the person giving in to separatists instead of standing for Canada
Scott Robertson@sarobertson_

Danielle Smith lashes out at “the 14 cowards who signed a letter to the PM trying to derail our MOU,” along with NDP leader Avi Lewis and BC Premier David Eby, accusing them of “creating the environment we find ourselves in” when pressed if she is to blame for the state of national unity.

@christoaivalis Ya’ll seem to think suppressing separatist’s legitimate grievances is a good idea. What’s with all the psycho babble of harm Canada. We can extract resources and manage emissions. This helps the economy and poor people - a group progressives feign to care for.

Carney is complicit in Alberta's seperatist movement. He's actively empowering Danielle Smith as she attacks Avi Lewis and the NDP The LPC-UCP alliance seeks to harm Canada in order to make the capitalist class richer.

The AI bubble math doesn't add up. Anthropic spends $3 to make $1 and that’s before you include any and all other costs like staff or electricity. Microsoft dumped $300B in capex, made ~$18B in AI revenue. OpenAI and Anthropic alone make up 43-54% of Microsoft, Google, Amazon and Oracle's entire revenue backlogs. Enterprises are burning through annual AI budgets in 4 months with zero measurable ROI. This is the most expensive science experiment in history, funded by your SaaS subscriptions.

It never ceases to amaze me that leftists do not seem to grasp the concept that scaling up systems so they can coordinate the work of hundreds of thousands of people is both extremely difficult and incredibly valuable.

This interview was somewhat encouraging after the disappointing 3.5 Flash. Sundar seems clearly aware that they are behind Codex and Claude Code, and he talks about it honestly. If he didn’t recognize that properly, or spoke like a typical CEO, I would have felt they were in serious trouble.

@DarrigoMelanie This is the problem with lefties: - I hate rich people they exploit the poor! - I love government! They don’t exploit anyone, sure they’re the RICHEST, legislate, and are the responsible for minimum and cost of living - but I LOVE THEM!
