It was a slightly belated Mother’s Day celebration in the Healy household, as David brought the BetMcLean Cup in to see his mum, Irene, who has been recovering in hospital. A special moment made even more meaningful after a difficult few weeks for the Gaffer.
Wishing Irene a speedy recovery 💙

Linfield Football Club are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former player-manager Billy Campbell, who has died at the age of 81.
Campbell was a respected figure in the club’s history. During his time he managed to win one of Linfield's 57 Irish League titles.
Throughout his playing career he was well known for his work down the right-wing, also featuring for Hamilton Accies, Dundee, Sunderland and Motherwell.
Linfield extends its deepest condolences to Billy’s family, friends, and all who knew him at this difficult time.
His contribution to the club will always be remembered, and he will remain an important part of Linfield’s proud history.

Linfield Football Club has noted the statements issued by various supporters clubs calling for a boycott of our forthcoming Irish Cup tie against Limavady United due to concerns about the regular rescheduling of our games to facilitate television coverage.
Whilst this club has never endorsed the boycotting of games, we recognise the genuine concerns raised by our supporters clubs and can fully understand the stance they are taking in this instance.
Club officials have met with both NIFL and the BBC this season to express our serious concerns about the lack of balance in the selection of games for screening and to highlight the disruption this causes to our supporters and, in particular, to our supporters clubs. We have also raised concerns about the distribution of income from the BBC television deal and the fact that this is not targeted specifically at the clubs who are featured.
Over the coming weeks we intend to discuss our concerns with the other Premiership clubs and with NIFL to seek changes to the broadcasting contract for next season and to ensure a fairer balance in the selection of games across all Premiership clubs.
Supporters are the lifeblood of the local game and they should not be taken for granted in this drive to broaden coverage of the local game.

Linfield Football Club are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former player Billy Totten, who represented the club during the mid-1980s. A proud Shankill Road man, Billy is fondly remembered for scoring the opening goal in our European Cup tie against Panathinaikos in Athens in 1984, a moment that remains part of Linfield’s proud European history. Everyone at Linfield extends our heartfelt condolences to the Totten family and friends at this difficult time. Audaces Fortuna Juvat 💙🕊️
