@iamrahmanosman @AtsuTamakloe Ghana has significantly used set piece situations to grab our goals when we have struggled to score from open play. Recent evidence shows in the WCQ. So are you saying nobody else can head the ball? Dede doesn’t have the legs anymore and the team will need players that can press.

@AtsuTamakloe Easy. A fit on-form Ayew is still a weapon to have. I doubt there is a better header of the ball in the team and in an age where set pieces win games- you might want to keep someone who can head a ball in the team. But again it's up to Otto.

There is nothing that Andre Ayew can offer that you cannot find in any of the forward options we have.
There is no tactical solution that Andre presents that we cannot find in any of our forwards.

@AtsuTamakloe He will be very naive to think he’s the same player he was in 2013. However there is a footballing point- is he playing yes, is he effective yes, can he have a role even if it’s a minor role? I think so. I don’t get those who say there is no footballing point to be made. Do you?

@garyalsmith @raymondnyamador Gary is right, we all know how they will crucify Otto if his decision to take Dede backfires so he needs to stand his ground as the coach. Pick the players you want and believe are the best fit to accomplish the objectives at the World Cup.

@Scott_Geelan @erneado I said the same thing as I watched the match. There is a bit of immaturity off the ball, especially with that penalty he conceded on the corner kick after the warning. I like him though he definitely has grown in his position and he’ll continue to improve.

Tough first start for Jonas Adjetey. Right of a 3, asked to play in space & progress as a passer. Improved notably on ball after a shakey start with some fine passing. However, his physical, at times agricultural, defensive style needs improving. Conceded a poor penalty from a corner amongst some other reckless actions.
The upside is clear with his bravery & comfort on ball, defensive application & physical traits. However, his defensive decision making & concentration continue to require refinement (have improved in the last few years).
