Does the government and legal system think we are stupid? You might remember this case. Sheraz Malik is a Pakistani national who was found guilty of raping an 18 year old girl in a Nottinghamshire park on 29 June 2025. She had been drinking and arrived at the park with a friend. The friend had to leave and the victim was preyed upon by two men. Both raped her. The second rapist, Malik, dragged her by the hair, orally and vaginally raped her and also tried to strangle her despite her screaming “no no no”. When her ordeal was over she texted her friend to “help me” and said that she felt suicidal. The first rapist was never found but DNA evidence resulted in the arrest and conviction of Sheraz Malik. That conviction was back in January 2026. 5 months later and he has still not been sentenced. Why? Did they lose him? Did he manage to go back to Pakistan? This is not justice. @CPSUK why don’t you explain what is happening here?
