🚨 A Louisiana K-9 police officer was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison in 2021 after pleading guilty to possessing child pornography and raping his retired police dog.
Terry Yetman, who previously worked as a K-9 handler for the Bossier City Police Department, was convicted on child pornography charges along with multiple counts of animal sexual abuse involving his retired K-9.
As a sworn law enforcement officer, Yetman held a position of public trust. Instead of upholding the law, he engaged in the sexual exploitation of children and abused an animal that had served alongside him a serious betrayal of both his badge and his role.
When individuals in law enforcement are found committing these types of crimes, it raises serious concerns about how they were able to operate without detection for so long.
What kind of oversight and monitoring should police departments have to identify and remove officers who pose a danger to children and dogs?

Early this morning I had an appointment at my GP surgery located in a small pretty neighbouring village. I had to wait 4 weeks for the appointment but the waiting area was empty.
As I was walking into the surgery, two young black women speaking in a foreign language were ahead of me.
They had the security code to the employees receptionist/admin area.
As I sat waiting to be called in I noticed NHS leaflets on the pin board, one of an elderly black couple & another of a young indian couple.
None depicting a White couple.
As I left the surgery, a young Pakistani man was taking boxes of drugs into the pharmacy area.
When I go to my dentist the staff are majority Pakistani or other foreign staff.
When I last visited my local garden centre a couple of weeks ago, the large swanky overpriced cafeteria was filled with black foreign speaking staff.
My village fish & chip shop is foreign owned, as is the local village shop.
In the nearest small market town every barbers but one is foreign owned, as is almost every restaurant, cafe & takeaway.
This is in rural Britain.
Why have so many native owned small businesses gone out of business but the foreign owned ones survive, what's going on?

An Arlington Police Department officer has been arrested after his girlfriend discovered more than 4,000 files of child sexual abuse material hidden on external hard drives behind his bulletproof vest.
Dustin Bartlett, 41, is accused of possessing depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
Bartlett has been placed on administrative leave pending both criminal and internal investigations. He made his first court appearance this week and remains in custody.
This case is especially disturbing because the material was found by his own girlfriend, hidden behind the very vest he wore while serving as a police officer.
Once again, someone in a position of public trust is accused of exploiting children while hiding in plain sight.
