Called to a report of a timber sleeper on fire. Line blocked on arrival , sleeper found and fire extinguished from water containers I carry in my van. Operational assessment made that normal working can resume. My P-Way colleagues will replace the long timber later.

They safely got him across the water to the mainland. A long day for this crew no doubt, yet they came for him. I hope this tweet makes it back to them. First van I had was one of these. Bedford CF with a “suicide door” that opened going uphill🥹 wipers worked occasionally. Bonnet opened on its own at 40+mph😵‍💫Ex rentokill so literally glowed in the dark and a clear view of the road under your feet! 😃 £80 bargain…
