I have found that funded day cares don’t provide the best quality care because they pay minimum wage and there’s a very high turnover of staff.

He must be impeached and removed.

Congress is not powerless. Democrats must unify around an actual agenda. 1. Vote no on DHS funding bill. 2. Repeal the multi-year $75 billion funding for ICE. 3. End qualified immunity for ICE agents. 4. Investigate and prosecute every single ICE agent who broke the law. 5. Impeach Noem and Bondi. 6. End the Kavanaugh stops with racial profiling and end the militarization of ICE. 7. Codify a use of force standard so courts can enforce the law against rogue ICE agents. 8. Tear down and replace ICE with an agency that has oversight. Trump is engaged in the SYSTEMATIC destruction of the rule of law. Only if Congress fights with every legal tool at our disposal including lawsuits in the courts, like we are doing with the Epstein files, can we stop this madness. We owe that to nurse Pretti and the hundreds of thousands on the streets risking their lives to stand up for our freedoms.

This video of federal agents killing a civilian appears to contradict the accounts by @DHSgov and @BPUnion. It appears the victim was filming and then tried to help a person that a Border Patrol agent shoved to the ground. He didn’t “approach with a gun,” or “brandish” a weapon.

@NYCMayor February 17 will be three years that we lost my student Dolma, only 7 years old on the corner of 45th Street & Newtown Rd. Together with her family and our city council representatives, Senator Giannaris and a petition that had 35,000 signatures, we got a traffic light installed.

No one should have to die walking or biking for a street to be made safe. And no family should have to relive their loss so others might live. Our administration will act to prevent tragedy, not wait for it.

@krassenstein Daycares are probably one of the most regulated industries there is. In NYC it takes about a year to get a license because of all the regulations from the health dept. Then if you want funding, that takes about another year and you can’t get funding without a license.

To all the random YouTube kids out there with no life experience… - Daycares lock their doors even when they are open so that kids don’t run out and so that nutcases like Nick Shirley don’t run in. - Daycares do NOT provide tours of their facilities when children are present. - Calling a business “fraud” when they aren’t is defamation.
