@samarthj_4530 @AgegeOvie Yes, stones were thrown at the cheetah. Correct.

@KellyMarnewick @AgegeOvie Stones were pelted around him to scare him away and that too only in the beginning before the forest staff came to the scene. After that, even when the cheetah was out of the park, the forest staff was behind it and keeping an eye on all of it's movement.

We need to base our conservation work on best science and prioritize the welfare of animals.

@KellyMarnewick With due respect, it is stated in the article that the escapee cheetah "Obaan" was pelted with stones and when he was captured, he was found injured. Can you kindly share me the details from where did you get this information?
