Consumers across the country tell CBC they've noticed the cost of Halloween candy is up, for both full-size chocolate bars and boxes of smaller "fun size" sweets.
But many handing out candy say they won't let costs creeping up affect trick-or-treaters. cbc.ca/news/canada/br… .

@Nocomment1000 @CTVNews Easy. If half of Alberta quit working and collected welfare, they would be entitled to a larger piece of the pie. The current system was last negotiated by Stephen J. Harper with Jason Kenney on the negotiating team. Looks like Albertans fucked Albertans over eh?

@GlobalNational Focus on books instead of other seasonal gift items. The Chapters near me has almost no books on the main floor with all the other, non literature items on display.

@CTVMorningWPG I hate the first snowfall because it marks the beginning of many more snowfalls and harsh sub-zero temperatures. 61 winters and I think I’ve had enough.

@nspector4 @acoyne @PierrePoilievre After seeing Poilievre’s rudeness with that so called reporter, why would any news outlet want to give that anus any air time? P.P. Knew exactly what that fellow was asking but chose to obfuscate and deflect. It proves he’s not qualified for PM.

English

@stanleydizjk @CBCNews She’s not correct, the target is 2050 not 2035. We have the dumbest person in the world running this province.

@GlobalNational What do emails have to do with these two idiots. They or either guilty or they are not. The police did not make them guilty, they did it all on their own.

@GlobalNational After my two cups of fresh ground espresso in the morning, my drink of choice is water or sparkling water with the odd glass of red wine on occasion.

@JoshfromGambo @GlobalNational Hamas, being a self admitted purveyor of terror against Israeli Jews must be held to the same account.

The cost to Canadians of protecting the prime minister and his family shot up over the last two fiscal years to its highest level in two decades, more than $30 million a year. cbc.ca/news/politics/… .
English

@ironic_eddytav1 @edigitz @dwnews Rephrase that to, “There are killers on both sides”. Palestinians have allowed a terrorist regime to keep them in shackles and they need to rise up against Hamas or this will never end.
