When my "gut feeling" becomes a final paper for my PhD! Using carefully selected FMT donors from #EstMB, we show that repeated antibiotics use in the past => weaker mucus layer + increase in mucus degraders (Akkermansia muciniphila, Bacteroides fragilis + others)🧵 #antibiotics
