My uncle had a heart attack. He survived. He wishes he hadn't seen the bill. Ambulance: $3,200. ER: $44,000 Surgery: $180,000. ICU: $22,000 per day. For 4 days. Rehab: $1,400/day. Insurance negotiated it down to $97,000 out of pocket. He's 65. He'll die still paying this off. in every other developed country, this bill is $0. We don't have a healthcare system. We have a hostage situation.

We have nearly $300 million of client assets at Fidelity and $500 million with Charles Schwab. We asked them about getting $SPCX shares for our clients and they said demand is insane and each client will be lucky if they get one share and there is no special carveout for $TSLA shareholders as I warned. I hope the people we talked to were uninformed so we will try again, but this is about what I expected.

It’s not sustainable but the companies (of which I work for one in the building material space)will not give up their profits easily. Most likely it will take a deep recession to reset prices. It’s a self fulfilling prophecy. People can’t afford stuff so they stop buying causing a recession which causes price depreciation.

The price of lumber is outrageous now. Back in 2020 I was getting a 4x8 sheet of 1/2 plywood for around $12/sheet. Went to Lowe’s today & it’s now $46. How are people affording to build homes, or remodel their existing homes? I’m not sure how this is sustainable.

I have no idea why Tesla hasn't come out with a Tahoe-style SUV. Pair that with FSD and it would be one of the top-selling vehicles in the world.

Such a jerk. Do you have any idea how important it is as a senior to feel confident that you have enough money to live out your life and not end up bankrupt or in some two bit senior place? My kids are their own agents and all do what they need to do. Not my responsibility to make sure they have a home.

If you're a boomer in your 60s and 70s and you own property and are well off but your children are struggling and can't even buy a home, what the hell are you doin? Your time is over. It's their time. Help them. Be a good parent, do whatever it is you need to do... sell the house if you need to, give them some kickbacks to help buy their first home, etc. Life is short. Be a good parent and don't squat on stuff that doesn't matter. Give them their time.
