Found on the Thames foreshore yesterday, both eyes only. 2 x Tournai french Jetons dating to the 15th century, possibly 14th. Both had gentle electrolysis and a clean with a fibre glass pen to bring the details back out! Both of these will go to the museum for recording 👍🏼

Quick update on the Memento Mori ring of Mary Farrington I found with date of death 21st August 1675. Today I handed the ring into the Museum to be recorded, but not before I took it on a pilgrimage to All Hallows by The Tower where Mary was laid to rest on 26th August 1675..

Gold Momento Mori ring found yesterday on the Thames foreshore. This is a ladies mourning ring & the inscription reads 'M.Farrington 21 Aug 75' I believe this would date to 1675 based on its style. If anyone knows anyway to find the death record I would really appreciate it!
