🚨 BREAKING: GOVERNMENT RELEASES IMPLEMENTATION PLAN FOR RADICAL NUCLEAR POWER REFORMS You signed our letter to Number 10 with over 50 leading CEOs, entrepreneurs, and policy experts. You made sure you were heard, you pressured the Government and demanded radical change. Together, we forced the Government to commit to all the recommendations. Today, they have published implementation plans that represent the most radical change to nuclear power regulation in British history. We’ve made this a priority for the Government. They’ve published their plans on time and with big fanfare. But the work is far from done. The Government is already listening to an army of consultants, lawyers, and lobbyists. Today’s plans show a handful of recommendations have been watered down or even abandoned. The next few months could mean yet more of this. Make no mistake though: today is a huge win for Britain, but the British people cannot afford for our politicians to give in, once again, to the Vegetable Lobby. We need your help to hold the Government to their word of ACCEPTING ALL. Because they now face a choice: cutting bills and securing British energy or giving into the same lawyers and lobbyists that have stopped Britain building for decades. The situation in Britain is dire. It needs radical action. We are going to keep these reforms as radical as the situation demands. Because Britain needs it. The future demands it. Our politicians must deliver it.

For years our nuclear regulatory system hasn't worked. Today that changes with our plan to implement the recommendations of the @JohnFingleton1 review. 47 reforms. One lead regulator. A faster path to new nuclear projects & clean, secure power. Patrick Vallance explains 🎥

Students deserve to know the facts before taking on £53,000 of debt. Right now, they just get marketing brochures. Governments have hidden the real records for over a decade. It's time for the truth. Release the Records.

In 2015, the Government started collecting records (called LEO – Longitudinal Education Outcomes) that explicitly connect universities and degrees with average earnings, intended to “enable parents and students to make more informed choices concerning education and employment destinations”. Despite this apparent aim, successive governments have refused to make the full records public. Instead, they have given access to only a tiny selection of approved researchers, and published only limited, curated data. This must change. The Government must release the records. They must also compel universities to disclose course-level average earnings, employment rates, non-completion rates and typical lifetime repayments in their marketing. Students and parents should be able to make choices with the full facts. That is why we are today demanding that the Government releases the full anonymised records. Students, parents, and the public should be able to make choices with the full facts. They should know the truth. @pursuitofprog on @GBNEWS today talking about our campaign to release the records👇

Students & parents should know the facts before they take out the debt. But the truth about graduate earnings has been hidden for years. Government has records tracking graduate earnings, but they refuse to publish them in full. It's time for the truth. Release the records.

In Handsworth, Birmingham fridges are being fly tipped on a family street. Our team of residents & volunteers removed half of them last week. Were asking the council to keep our streets clean and arrest the fly-tippers ruining residential areas.
