@JackFritzWIP At least they're trying something, but control problems throughout his time in Single/Double-A don't bode well for life in the big city.

Very excited about McFarlane coming up. Has a chance to be a real weapon out of the bullpen. 97-98 with a hard sinker and a real + slider. Sort of reminds me of Kerkering, although I don't know how he is at fielding his position. Command has been good this year, but that's the biggest thing that will determine how good he is up here.

@ATCNY This isn't exactly the same situation, but if Carlos Rodón has taken more than 6 months to return after his 'loose bodies' (& spur), what's the chance that Diaz returns - and is effective - before the playoffs? Seems very low.

Hear me out. It's standing ovation time. This team is struggling. We know they're better than they've shown. I don't believe this is a situation where the team has regressed. The Phillies come home on the 28th. As they're introduced, the fans should show our support for them. I know I'll get flamed for this. But this team is playing hard, has always played hard, and many of the underlying stats suggest they've had bad luck on offense and defense. I still support this team, and so should you. There's too much of a track record to not.
