Amazon Alexa is planning to enter the Swiss market with its digital assistant. Yesterday, an email was sent to some Alexa users in Switzerland, inviting them to join the pilot. This will be interesting and stimulate the Voice User Interface market. cc @bretkinsella @VoiceMeetupCH

So the assistant persona needs a character that also knows how to react to both swearing and abuse. So “I didn’t understand” is not enough. Handling profanity obviously goes back to good conversational design and a well conceptualised NLU training.
