@LauraSchmeling Hi, Laura. *If* the kid/teen who's a close contact is fully vaccinated at the time of contact, no self-isolation is needed. Kids are ALLOWED at school if they're close contacts in settings outside the household *and* asymptomatic. If they are household contact, must isolate.

PRAGMATIC measures that will bend #SK's Delta curve: ✅ INDOOR gathering restrictions (esp for unvaxxed) ✅ IMMEDIATE expansion of test/trace/iso ✅ ELIMINATE negative testing option for non-essential activities/HCWs ✅ SECURE proof of vaccine RT if you agree, #SK. #COVID19SK

@awong37 May I ask where you found this information? My daughter is identified as a close contact (from outside our home) and when being tested tonight the nurse made it seem like she was not able to attend school.

Good news, #SK. Kids identified as CLOSE HOUSEHOLD CONTACTS now CANNOT attend school & are NO LONGER EXEMPTED from need for 14-day isolation. Household contact is FAR higher risk than school contact. Original orders made little/no sense. Kudos MoH for the change. #COVID19SK
