@ScottishPower HELP ME PLS, open complaint that I gave up on from 2 years ago due to lack of help. I call in customer service can’t help due to my open complaint, message on FB can’t help me, use the complaint page can’t help me. Happy to take £5k a year but won’t help perfect!

Use caution when diverted to use Onfido verification. It was used on a fraudulent HMRC website to gain my personal information .

Just adding to my @VirginAtlantic tweets over this past week, I managed to get through. It’s worse than we thought. A route I saw for premium at 16.5k each way was actually 100k round trip. Apparently reward seat checker is now pointless, the points you see is not accurate at all

@cameron_ga76105 @VirginAtlantic Yep! It’s double whammy with the companion ticket limit. I just cannot believe the lack of warning. And they’ve missed out as I would have purchased a ton of points and booked 2/3 trips ahead too. Now my 550k do not cover my trip 🤨🤨

@PaulineMiller8 @VirginAtlantic I agree Pauline, I did indeed find an email that said great things were coming and there would be new availability - no mention of total devaluing of points or any warning to book sooner. Sold as a positive, far from it.

@Laura_Meadows1 @VirginAtlantic I don't think you missed any emails. I can't find any email informing us of devaluation of points. Like yourself we are also unable to take trip we had planned. Pre 31st Oct points required 55,000, now it's 304,000😱 totally outrageous.

@Laura_Meadows1 @VirginAtlantic Absolute madness. I got some flights for NYC (thankfully, weeks ago!) that were 20k points return. They are now 192k - for exactly the same flights. If Avios etc. have any common sense, they'll do a big promotion now & nab some @VirginAtlantic customers.

Crikey, anyone else feeling totally mugged off about the lack of communication from @VirginAtlantic new point system? With over 500k miles in my account I wish I’d known how devalued they would be overnight so I could have booked before. Gutted 😢

@slopter @VirginAtlantic Yes I’ve always felt that and I can see it’s better for some on some dates in economy but personally my whole drive for a loyalty system is the upgrade to upper class using points so it’s all bad news for me and how I use it sadly

@Laura_Meadows1 @VirginAtlantic There are some real bargains now though. Flights with the lowest saver points are insanely cheap. Much better than the BA system where reward seats are just shown as not available and it’s impossible to use your avois.
