Never took the time in all my years to ever read and really read the Bible. Currently almost through the Jerusalem Bible Old Testament and almost done with the Prophets. Next up to New Testament. So far amazing and not at all what I was expecting.

We brought 2 patients to area hospitals today, both AMS and one required chemical sedation. Both calls run perfectly by our crew. In the ED, continuous waveform capnography we had placed were pulled off. Me: Excuse me, where’s your ETCO2? Respiratory: We don’t do that in the ED. 😳😳😳

@Run_Fox_Run As a point of English language and fact, as a paramedic, I drive the ambulance on occasion. Therefore I am, by factual analysis, an ambulance driver. I take no offense at the title. It does not demean me in any way.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AN AMBULANCE DRIVER! EITHER AN EMT OR PARAMEDIC IS DRIVING THE AMBULANCE DEPENDING ON THE CALL/SERVICE. THEY DO NOT HIRE SOMEONE JUST TO "DRIVE THE AMBULANCE"!

@MedicSBK Same excuses I am given. Don't question EMD. Between using the wrong level of unit based on vague comments unnecessary use of other responders as well that is indicated by the same vague response.

@LeeTurpen4 Yup. Last night we had an ALS unit sent to a "my finger hurts." Is that a success or failure for the system? EMS: The call was overtriaged. ALS should have never been sent to such a complaint. EMD: They answered the questions and the call-taker pressed the right buttons

I wish that systems that use EMD addressed over triage as much as they do under triage. I swear, the classification of calls is going to go a long way to sinking the EMS system on a national level.
