I’ve looked at the live telemetry and the onboard - Hamilton been utterly robbed of a potential pole here as his SM mode has completely failed. He started the lap at 275kph, over 15kph down compared to every other run and arrives at turn 1 miles behind his PB. He then claws all of that time back through turn 1-4 and turn 6, where he set the purple mini sector - before aborting as SM fails again. You couldn’t write it.

This scene is so buzzy because on one hand the #Chenford sergeant-aide dynamic was so good and on the other hand the fact that Melissa and Eric were told to stand closer so they could fit in the same frame fully knowing the fans would would love it was insane 😭
