My thoughts go out to Tulsi Gabbard and her family, as her husband battles this serious health problem. I hope and pray that he makes a speedy and full recovery.
While the circumstances around her departure are deserving of our sympathy, let’s be clear: Tulsi Gabbard’s only positive contribution to our nation's national security is her resignation.
She politicized intelligence. She dismantled critical agencies keeping Americans safe. She weaponized the IC to pursue baseless election fraud claims. And more.
We must ensure that her tenure — marked by a devotion to the person of the president and not to the security of the country — represents a terrible exception at DNI and not the new normal.

@krezae @TuckerPoodleMA May I ask why? Financial advisors have all said wait to 67.
English

@TuckerPoodleMA I retired early at 64. Take your social security before 67 if you are able to.

@lalovestrump @nithyavraman I’m sure all the illegals have environmental health permits though.
English

Can’t BBQ with family for holidays at your own house
But it’s ok for illegals to run unlicensed food carts all over the sidewalks and not pay taxes
Oh yeah and thousands of homeless fires per year !
Gee @nithyavraman you are a real genius !

I voted to extend TPS for Haitians because I cannot, in good conscience, send people who were lawfully granted protection here, followed our laws, and built lives under our rules back to rape, murder, and chaos in a lawless Haiti. This is completely separate from amnesty or illegal immigration. Conflating the two is dangerous.

This is my father, resting with Robin—our beloved Ragdoll of 17 years—curled tightly against his chest. When we walked in and saw them like this, something told us to take a photo. We didn’t know it then, but it would be the last picture we’d ever take of them together.
That night, my father passed away in his sleep, cradling the companion who had never left his side.
Two nights later, Robin passed too.
We believe he couldn’t bear to be without him. Their bond was that deep, that sacred. He followed the man who raised him, loved him, and gave him a home—into whatever comes next.
Now, we like to believe they’re still together, somewhere beyond this world, curled up just like this. Two souls, one love. Forever.

Where there’s a will there’s a way
Especially as to policies that American voters overwhelmingly support
As soon as the Senate reconvenes, it’s time to debate the SAVE America Act—as long as it takes to get the bill passed into law

BREAKING: President Trump is urging the Senate to immediately pass the SAVE America Act. “You’re going to hear the excuse it needs 60 votes...THAT’S NOT TRUE.” Let @SenateGOP know that we demand they protect the integrity of our elections!

@vickip01_b @loonlake55 Then you were rich. We didn’t get one until 1980!

@loonlake55 We didn’t have a color tv until 1969 and there were only 3 channels and no remote.

Too many young people are resenting Boomers, claiming that Boomers had it " easy " financially in their youth. Here are a few fun facts about growing up Boomer.
1. Almost everyone grew up with one bathroom. Mom, Dad and all 3-6 siblings.
2. If you did get to take a vacation, you drove. With no air conditioning. No cup holders. No iPads. Just black vinyl seats and bologna sandwiches.
3. There were no club sports. No Parks and Rec activities. Summer camp was for rich kids. Get yourself a bike, a stick and a few friends. If you were bored, you laid in the grass and looked at clouds.
4. You ate what was served. Even if it was chicken livers. No DoorDash, no backup Totino's rolls.
5. No AP classes, no PSEO, no "fun" elective. They assigned you to a class. You went. You did what they asked. Or else.
6. Unless you had rich parents, you had a nice VFW wedding. Maybe rent a room at a modest hotel.
7. Most Boomers got their first pedi and mani in their 50s (when their feet got farther away). We didn't even know people got massages in real life, only in Hollywood.
8. You packed your own lunch for decades.
9. No one knew what red light therapy was, a facial, a spa day, or a cold plunge. Your gym was the YMCA. Usually in a rather old building.
10. We grew up with 18 percent inflation, 14 percent mortgage rates, 3 million continuing unemployment claims, and 200 other applicants competing for the same job.
Now, this is not to say Millenials and Gen Z have it easy or don't face problems. It's just to say, nobody has it easy or doesn't face problems.
My only hope, as my mom would say, is I live long enough to see my kids' kids complain about how easy they had it!

@ja72anders @loonlake55 Entitled much? I wouldn’t leave you a dime with that attitude.
English

@loonlake55 well the boomers will be dead soon and generation whatever will inherit the houses
English

@Antaldi44 @neeratanden LMAO. I fled CA 2 years ago and have no regrets. Despite the weather and scenic beaury in spots, the state sucks more and more each day.
English

@neeratanden It's all an opp. Right wingers play the long game. They condition their people to hate things that are good. That way they can take it over and destroy it. Most people can't tell how great CA is until they leave.
English

This is a gorgeous state. No place like it on earth. Never understood the hate towards the state, except envy from the right wingers.

@SenWarren Screw your wealth tax. Cut costs and fraud. Get rid of the illegals.

@megynkelly @Cernovich Approval of the war is hardly nosediving among MAGA. AKA your former audience.
English

@Cernovich Prediction: as approval for this war continues to nosedive, the once relevant but now newly irrelevant podcasters will be blamed entirely for the loss in support … & will be called antisemitic traitors to boot

DHS: “Hey states, send us your voter-registration data and we’ll help you identify noncitizens who may have registered”
Red States: “Great; will do!”
Blue States: “No”
DHS: “Why”
Blue States: “Umm … noncitizens don’t vote, you’re racist, January 6th … and climate change”
This is why we need the SAVE America Act

Blue states won’t share illegals voter data because they aren’t voting?
English

@squidsee @AlexBerenson Hmm, 🤔 oh yeah: Race based discrimination.
English

@LibertyChoco @AlexBerenson What’s unconstitutional exactly?
English

I get no joy out of this. I voted for the guy, I hoped he would close the border (he did, good), end DEI nonsense, focus on inflation and domestic problems, stand for free speech…
But the last few months have been a train wreck and he now seems utterly out of control.
Alex Berenson@AlexBerenson
This is definitely going to get the Iranian people on our side and get oil prices down In happier news, at least he spelled "Strait" right
English

@squidsee @AlexBerenson It’s called defending the Constitution.
English

@AlexBerenson I get voting for closing the border. But why did you vote for a federal level executive to “end DEI”? Do you really want a federal level bureaucracy forcing companies to have specific policies? I don’t understand why anyone would support this unless they are authoritarian.
English

@BruceD48698 @jim_desmond They will make you get inspections as a condition of renewing registration. Just like smog checks.
English

@jim_desmond And the only way they can track every mile you drive is by monitoring your car's or cell phone's GPS, which is a warrantless & unconstitutional invasion of privacy. It's none of govt.'s business where one goes at what time of day.
English

California politicians just moved AB 1421 through the Assembly — a bill that orders the state to build a mileage tax system by 2027.
Not "study." Not "explore." Implement.
That means tracking every mile you drive — then taxing you for it.
On top of gas taxes.
On top of registration fees.
On top of sales taxes.
On top of local transportation taxes.
This is a commuter punishment aimed straight at working families who drive to work, drive their kids to school, and drive to pick up groceries.
Sound familiar? SANDAG tried this exact scheme right here in San Diego County. Residents found out. Commuters spoke up. Small businesses pushed back.
They backed down.
We stopped it once. We'll stop it again.
