I despise people like her. I’m a migrant to Australia. I got lucky, from my very first day here, I met good people who made me feel welcome. Maybe I’m better off than some people who were born here, but whenever a homeless person asks me for help, I help. It’s the least I can do. Because I understand that many people experiencing homelessness come from dysfunctional families, addiction, abuse, trauma and being on the street is not a lifestyle choice.

What's the point she's even trying to make here? That it's not possible to be homeless if you speak perfect English and have an Australian passport? Or that a homeless person has the things she wants and she's angry because she believes herself to be more valuable and more entitled to those things?
