Yo artists, if can't afford to take art comms seriously like a 'real' job you should reconsider working with art may not be for you. Your client should be respected! No one shouldn't wait months for a comms to get done. You're blessed with this job and you do this? You suck.

Idk why this needs to be said but, artists, please deliver the art you get paid for, communicate if you can't and give them refunds. Deadline is deadline. You might think "if they don't like waiting, go elsewhere" but these all harm your business A LOT.

I don’t care if the commission takes longer than expected, I want communication. If you just tell me that you have stuff going on and then give me a realistic timeline of what I can expect, I’m more than willing to wait until then. Ghosting clients should never happen.

@ChaiTeaKitten Me dealing with an artist that keeps saying they are gonna finish 2 comms one mine and one of my friends from January and suddenly they posted they do a custom for someone and done on Tuesday when they haven’t finished the other stuff they said they’d get done.

A lot of insanely unprofessional freelance artists in the fandom being outed lately jesus christ. Not all of us are like that. Good enough time to say I've been freelancing for 3 years now and have a perfect track record and never leave my clients in the lurch! 😊

You're a disgrace if you're scamming or ghosting people who trusted you to give you their hard earned money for YOUR ART, IN THIS ECONOMY We are SO FUCKING LUCKY to have a fandom that STILL supports artists. Fuck the so called freelancers that squander it Deserves it's own post
