@snark_talks If it helps it happens in various languages too. I don't think * had this many interactions in English or Spanish about FFXIV ToS

Bruno survived FIP, a deadly disease in cats. Early diagnosis and treatment can save lives. Please spread awareness. #FIPAwareness

@greywalkerr @ILucasK Probably, but even if you're in "Just Chatting" u can get banned if anything related to licenced FFXIV material is shown. Like text, logo, music, gameplay, video etc.
English

@Masterbladeoo2 @ILucasK I don't talk about him, I talk about what it means for other streamers if its like the GM said.
English

@FFXI_FFXIV They change the licenced content use. xeno said something about it. So it's not by harassing like it was on 2020. This is kinda different. But any big content creator can be take out of context while, gaming, watching video, using a logo or even using licenced text and get banned
English

I honestly don't see anything that was said to warrant his banned, but it's Square-Enix call. Xenosys has always talked like this for years and nothing happened, so what has changed? Certainly someone found a loop hole to target his banned.
To be real FFXIV community is very very very toxic and yes their is pettiness and fake smiles and fake positivity has really hurt the game and the community in general and I'm aware how this kind of behavior can also pull people away from the game.
This is why many have stayed in FF11 because how toxic and fake people can be in the FF14 community.
Majority of the harrasements and stalking comes from this game itself there is no denying it.
Petty people even created a mod to find who's retainers belong to which character to harass them for undercutting. It's pathetic.
Also it's terrible that we can't even express ourselves about crazy people who work at Square-Enix, because of big sissies who can't handle the steel of other people's vocabulary.
I'm very discouraged to even continue with FF14. I'm good with FF11 as long they do not damage the game as they did with DawnTrail. Square-Enix really needs to get it together or kick rocks because by the end of the day people can and will move on to another gaming company who listen to player base feedback without attacking gamers.
Like pearl abyss, why can't SE takes notes how well they are doing?
Xenosys@XenosysVex
I was banned on FFXIV for Aggressive comments and behavior against others during twitch streams. I was not aware the ToS applied to outside of game as long as ANY FFXIV copyright content was visible. I was not given any details about the ban other than that. More details later.
English

@ILucasK Yeah. But is not just the game anymore. It can be anything, gaming, watching a video, using a logo or even licenced text. He deserved the ba according to ToS? Yes, totally. But this set a dangerous precedent for 14 CCs. Reports can be weaponized to get any streamer banned
English

@eysorc @Seyren @roegamaniac Probably. But the point remains the same, it been said by a GM that anything you do or say while using licenced material like game, video, logo, music and even text can be used to get reported.
English

@Linth_Ok @Seyren @roegamaniac "Can be anything"
It was definitely the ableist and gendered slurs at SE employees.
Let's not be obtuse.
English

He got banned for Violating tos and using slurs. Curse words are okey but the line is drawn when they use slurs.... constantly
Seyren@Seyren
People celebrating Xenosys's ban are cooked, because you clearly do not understand the implications of what it means and the fact that FFXIV can now police your stream for free. This can happen to anyone, even the streamers you like
