Someone said the other day (I think it was meant as a compliment…) that “it sure must be nice to get paid for running NAIG.” In case anyone’s wondering, I am a volunteer board director (and chair). NAIG Host Society board members do not get paid to be on the board. FYI. 😊

I rewatched the fight at 4 AM in my hotel room after UFC 288. Thought I did enough to get my hand raised, but Aljo is a tough competitor. I know I could beat Aljo if we meet again one day. But I ain't done yet!

@gerrydee The all star game to me is not worth watching I wish there was something worthwhile for the players to play for. Until that is discovered I’ll continue to not watch.

Obviously I get it’s for TV. But so few kids are watching the World Series. We need shorter games and earlier games if the sport actually cares about the next generation. My kids love sports. They’re not watching the World Series.

Restoration efforts in #CapeBreton are ongoing as crews continue gaining access to the hardest hit areas and work to restore power to our customers around Sydney, Glace Bay & New Waterford.
The extensive damage caused by Hurricane Fiona in those areas makes restoration complex.

After 32 years of living in beautiful Fisher Bay, MB, my mama is moving today. It’s the end of a wonderful era in our lives. My brother is there helping her with the move and snapped this photo of the sunrise this morning. What a beautiful farewell.
