I use X mostly for sports outlet to talk about sports and how to apply things in life and I use Facebook for my preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Sometimes I want to lay down the hammer and preach on X too. I preach the grace of God. Sometimes preaching must happen.

Was really hoping to have another OVC POY with JJ. His stats were elite but just didn't get the vote. Any other year, he wins. Well, instead of having the last 5 of 10 OVC Player of Year awards, I guess @TNTech_Baseball will settle with winning it 40% of the time the past 10.

My hope in what I say on X is for followers/readers/viewers to first know that I am guided by the Lord Jesus Christ. I know some of my sayings and actions might be "strange" to you but I also know that my God hears my prayers. But He will answer according to His will not mine.

...are probably things he doesn't like about your playing ways (or in my case, fan ways...ha). I feel part of my duty is to stand in the gap to honor a man of God while also lifting up the Tech program in the best way possible.

First and foremost, as a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, I stand for @TNTech_Baseball coach Matt Bragga. Knowing he is a fellow believer I will stand that ground first. Now, I am sure there are things that you might not like about his coaching ways. But there....

Someone in comments said this player was injured. I am sorry for that. However, was well enough to play up to 4/21 and got 62 ABs. The equivalent position (C/DH) at @TNTech_Baseball had ~150 ABs during the same time. Still played less than would have at Tech. Point still stands.

General advice. A lawyer does not ask you a question they don't already know the answer to. That goes for anyone that thinks that way. If you are asked a question in those settings, know that they already know the answer.

@bsbvault @TNTech_Baseball Thanks for responding. I do believe something has to be fixed. A more dialed in approach. Tech does get great players as evident with some of the players we have had the past few years. But, the big money/opportunity comes knocking and we lose players the past few years.

@bsbvault @TNTech_Baseball That might be true. They recruit so bad that 2 SEC teams and Tulane got (recruited) 3 of our players for this season. One being last year's OVC player of the year.

Don't let your ego get the best of you. @TNTech_Baseball players go where you're WANTED. Lest, you be regretting your decision and find out you were chasing the ALL-TIME vanity of vanities. Money. There are things that follow money and it will be a curse or it will be a blessing.

When something is from the Lord, it is a blessing and there are no sorrows added. "The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it." Proverbs 10:22

This is a real thing and it's truth. I've got to back my words with the word of God. "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." 1 Tim. 6:10

...are getting more opportunity, when you are LITERALLY choosing money over playing time. You do realize that you can make money after college. BUT you WON'T be playing after college. Choose wisely.

The answer to today's trivia question during @TNTech_Baseball game about the record holder for hits in the OVC, which I don't believe the number was mentioned, but it was 362 by Kevin Strohschein (@KevStro16). 2016-2019 FR - 90 OVC POY SO - 77 JR - 106 OVC POY SR - 89 OVC POY

Believe it or not this is very fixable. But, a big one, the new conference is an unknown for how we will compete. But we are a few players away from flipping this over.

A closer look at @TNTech_Baseball OVC conference record this season was a lot closer than it seems. But unfortunately Tech was on the losing side most the time. 27 OVC Conference Games 16 of 21 loses were by 5 runs or less. 8 games were by 1 run followed by 4 games by two runs.

I want to take a moment to recognize one of the best seasons in @TNTech_Baseball history. Super glad for JJ. .401 AVG 20 HR 16 2B 4 3B 69 RBI .483 OBP .817 SLG Consistent from game 1. Instead of how many games he hit in, I'll just number the games he didn't hit. Only 9 games.
