1. In his one-man show Lorrel tells his life story while weaving in snippets of the wonderful music that’s helped him get through some exceptionally traumatic decades
2. Lorrel doesn’t seem to be performing as much as is he rawly recounting his trauma in a fashion that moved several audience members to tears
3. When I attended, Lorrel earned an enthusiastic standing ovation
Verdict: A great option for those looking for a raw memoir
