@MrLuckhurst @autcareandshare Those children already diagnosed should have information available to share their challenges/triggers etc, understand what they are to prevent them from occurring. Also recognise that there will be many children who aren’t diagnosed but also need your support

@autcareandshare I work in a large school with a number of autistic children - as a genuine question what can I be doing to support them? I have 1 maybe 2 adults per 30 children, lots of routines, visuals, prewarnings, quiet spaces to use etc. what am I missing?

A autistic child at school may be able to hold it together due to structure and routine Throughout the day the child builds up stress and anxiety School finishes, Meltdowns begin This is what some schools and some professionals do not see or believe .
