Today was the 3rd annual “Reese’s Day” in honor of Reese Johnson. C/O 21: you started something special that will endure because that’s what Reese deserves. He’s changed my life forever. He’s the reason I tell all of my kids I love them. What an amazing legacy. Rest easy, Reese.

"We provide our members with opportunities to serve, build character, & develop leadership." Our seniors have embodied the core values of Key Club: leadership, character-building, caring, & inclusiveness. These students have learned how to lead and stand for what’s right.

On Thursday at @LutheranHigh_SS Senior Awards, we will present our @LutheranCougars Key Club @LHSKey_Club with their graduation cords. This year, these students have demonstrated leadership, summoned the courage to engage, & develop their hearts to serve. #ChristianService

Our @LutheranCougars Day of Service is Wednesday...just a few places our upperclassmen are volunteering: Laurel Park Kids for a Cure Our Ladies Five Acres Shelter Blanchette Woodlands SC Pet Adoption Youth In Need Broemmelsiek Hearts & Hope Forest Park STL Food Bank Breeze Park

On Wednesday, April 26, LHS students and staff will perform our annual "Day of Service" in coordination with the LCMS Missouri District Shine service event. Our upperclassmen will partner with area service organizations, LCMS congregations, and other locations to volunteer their time in a project of their choosing. Our sophomores will be headed to Camp Wartburg for their service projects, while our freshmen will be serving in the City of St. Peters and around our campus. This week, the Exec. Council of the LHS Key Club visited @FOKWC They were able to deliver the donations which were collected from students, staff, and our school community during the "Week of Service" last month, get a tour of the facilities & meet some of the staff.

Special Chapel today led by the LHS Key Club! Their message was from Matthew 5, "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again?" Our Christian Mission is sharing our faith by letting our light shine around our salty world.
