I thought that next year's London Marathon would be popular but the figures released this morning are pretty astonishing: - A world record 1,338,544 people have applied for the 2027 London Marathon - Over one million from the UK and 300,000 international applications - Almost two percent of the entire UK adult population entered the ballot - More than double the applications for the 2024 London Marathon (578,304) - Almost 100k people from the US (92k) applied - Highest number of UK applicants were women aged 20-29 (179k)

First time watching Merthyr in 20 years. Brilliant game of football. Had been told by a colleague the full-back has a wand of a right foot. He did this at 2-0 down. The chest down gives it the Mellor to Gerrard Olympiakos vibe. Several rainbows followed this hit. Rightly so.

@mprwilson Defo going to need the options as it wears on. There’s a lot to be said for players in a squad who keep covering grass when it’s not going well. Sometimes those guys turn your luck or shift the flow. As well as he did at RB, we missed his legs in middle in that battle I felt.

@LukeReddy Yeah he was superb tonight. He’s far better than a utility player but I don’t think where he fits into a fully fit 11 🤷‍♂️ Not a bad problem to have I suppose
