Despite a great performance on the mound by Forbis (6IP, 4K, 1BB, 1ER) the Dogs strand the tying run @ 3B & go ahead run @ 2B, & lose to Macon 2-1 in the district semis. Runge had 2 hits & the lone RBI & Forbis had 1 hit as well. Dogs finish the season 11-12. #GoDogs

What everyone sees is an incredible throw. What few realize is that this throw would not have been possible had Renfroe- the right fielder- not been backing up on a base hit to straight-away center field. Backing up plays is not a skill, but an attitude.

In order to provide Battle's seniors an opportunity to play on their newly renovated (all turf) field, we have collectively decided to move Wednesday's home game to Battle High School. The start time has also been pushed back 30 min. to 5:30 #GoDogs

Dogs get to 10 wins on the year w/ the 10-0 victory over Moberly on Senior night. All 3 seniors played major roles in the game: Fennewald w/ 4 IP of 1 hit ball, Woolfolk reaches twice w/ 1R & 1RBI & Prince was 1-2 w/ 1RBI & some stellar glove work @ SS. Battle at home Wed. 5pm.

Despite Prince & Wilburn scattering only 4 ER on 10 hits, we made too many miscues in the field and lose 10-0 to Hallsville. Next up, we celebrate our seniors at home Monday vs Moberly, 5pm. #GoDogs
