@Taxi_Point I totally agree with the article and moving away from TfL. If we go back under the Police it would be much better. Police would make sure that a safer taxi and PH service could exist without the unnecessary interference from greedy stock funded companies!

@theJeremyVine Get your facts right Jeremy. He WASN'T arrested (he got a fixed penalty notice). And it WASN'T for covering his face it was for swearing/being disorderly. There's plenty to question about what ACTUALLY happened, so why lie?

Astonishing. 1️⃣ Police trial facial recognition cameras. 2️⃣ Chap decides he'd rather not be scanned, walks past with face covered. 3️⃣ Police arrest him and fine him, apparently because covering your face now counts as disorderly conduct.
