I think it is important that more people know you are able to surrender your infant at a hospital in all 50 states, DC, and PR with zero legal repercussions.
You can also drop your baby in a Safe Haven Baby Box if you are afraid to go into a hospital. Both are anonymous.
The range of time you must do this in varies by state, but it is available. No baby should be killed or left for dead for fear of legal consequences. You have options.

I was born like this but left by a garage, crazy pemature also. We need to support mothers who feel the need to take this route by making the safe boxes accessable in more locations (rural included). There's under no circumstance should a baby be left in a dumpster.

It's an uncomfortable thought, I know, but I want you to think for a minute about all the absolutely horrific ways this child could have very easily died, had he not been found sooner. His mother thought about that and then thought "welp, good luck, kiddo". There is absolutely no rationale for that decision that doesn't make me think "lock her up and throw away the key".
And to see people then turn around and go "this wouldn't have happened, had he just been aborted", that is just the most downright demonic shit I've heard all week. If you're one of the people making this excuse, I mean it when I say go buy yourself a nice and sturdy length of rope.
