The MINERS clinched the NORTHERN 5A LEAGUE title w a 2-0 W over Spanish Springs. Wade Huntsman fired a 4-hit shutout, k’ing 9. Blaise Czyz went 3-4 w an RBI. Jaxsyn Durst scored both runs. Rylan Martyka added an RBI double. Nate Lemieux had a double and Cinco Guillen a hit & a BB

Keenan Dolan & Traeyus Choi combined on a 2-hit shutout, k’ing 7 and walking none in a 5-0 W over Galena. Dalton Pingree was 3-4 w a 2B, 3B, SB, run & 2 RBI. Rylan Martyka and Blaise Czyz were both 2-4. Dolan, Martyka & Cinco Guillen all had an RBI. Jaxsyn Durst added a 3B & run.

Bishop Manogue (13-2) clinches first place and the top seed for next week's 5A-North Regional baseball playoffs. Reno (12-3) is the No. 2 seed. Carson will play at Damonte Ranch on Friday in the play-in game.
