Let’s Celebrate PCA extension through 2032. I’m going to giveaway 4 pairs of tickets for this season. Will work with the winners to pick a game date (not opening day) view is estimated. Like and comment with how many home runs PCA hits this season by 9pm 3/25 central.

@nosoupforgeorge Amazing moment. I was there too. I’ll never forget. Where were the fans the previous 8 games when the comeback was mounting? No where. Which is sad. And why the team needs to be moved.

October 3rd, 2012. Game 162. 12 years ago today. The Oakland A's swept the Texas Rangers to steal the AL West. The Coliseum was raucous. Single greatest sporting event I've ever attended. Oakland has always had fans. 💚💛

@LastDiveBar Imagine if the fans had gone to games. Ownership probably would’ve kept the team in the city.

Well there you have it folks. Their grand way of honoring fans, employees and 56 year of history in Oakland. A billboard that disappears every 10 seconds.

I interviewed my daughter every first day of school since kindergarten. The last one is now done, since she is a senior. 🥹. Here's how it turned out.

@LastDiveBar a 1/100th full stadium over the course of those 56 years is hardly "support" -- any smart business owner would move

“Just so you know, our bosses are human and have feelings too.” -Vittorio Debartolo, A’s Sr Director Of Marketing What part of ripping our team out of Oakland and treating the fanbase as if their support over the past 56 years has meant nothing. GTFOH!!! Great recap by @RickeyBlog of yet another PR rake to the face by the A’s 📺 🔗: youtu.be/EiOQYcRbNkE?si…

@jvb43 Imagine a city’s fans only coming when the team is in the playoffs. If fans were attending regularly - there would be no need for tarps. 100% on the “fans”

Justice For Oakland Fans
The final out of the 2006 ALDS. The A’s swept the Twins (3-0) and advanced past the first round for the first time since 1990. Attendance: 35,694. Lew Wolff refused to remove the tarps and the entire 3rd deck remained closed.

@jvb43 he would've removed them if Oakland fans had proven that they show up to games otherwise. There's a reason why they went on and stayed on.

Justice For Oakland Fans
Another memorable Oakland Coliseum playoff moment: Coco Crisp robs Prince Fielder of a home run in game 3 of the 2012 ALDS. The A’s would go on to win the game 2-0 in front of 37,090 Oakland fans (would’ve been more, but Lew Wolff refused to remove the tarps from the 3rd deck).

@noahsfriedman Got a rum brand you should check out. Father-son owners who give profits to charitable efforts in Haiti. Delicious Clairin that’s creating big buzz (finished 3rd in new spirit category at Tails). It’s called Saint Benevolence. They’re doing their first round.

@Elmanogonsalves The only statement that’s clear is the statement fans have made for decades in not attending games. Funny how everyone is upset now.

The emotional fan reaction to losing the A’s, while understandable in some senses, makes it clear that most don’t understand what owning a business is about. Why would any owner want to keep a team in OAK? Fans that don’t attend games. Crime everywhere. Should’ve left years ago
