If you've got vision, Tijjani Reijnders could actually be revived under Maresca because his understanding of space/time is elite. Positioning in the right areas, intelligent movement, and the ability to operate through traffic, which is exactly the kind of thing Maresca values in his system from a box-to-box midfielder.

Harry Maguire, who is English and Northern Irish… … has been demographically replaced in the England World Cup team by an African named ‘Addji Keaninkin Marc-Israel Guéh’ born in Ivory Coast. What’s the point in a ‘national’ football team if someone who is NOT from that nation can join? Maguire should play for England. Guéh should play for Ivory Coast. Common sense. I’m sure Maguire isn’t even allowed to contest this decision because, as his shirt says in the photo below, ‘no room for racism’.

@FPLMaineRoad The league has improved massively, and our style of play has not been adapted enough to account for that defensively. A game against a midtable team now is just not easy anymore, you only really have like 5-6 easy games now against the relegation stragglers.

Knackered, in shock from the news, not good enough...whatever it was, this result wasn't really that surprising. I think most of us expected Bournemouth away to be incredibly hard for this City side. It's a really good City side, but there are clear weaknesses and we just don't have *it* yet. Maybe Pep is right and it is the time for new energy and ideas. It's normal, I guess.

Well no Citeh fans can say @BurnleyOfficial didn’t make a go of it tonight. Very competitive and had several decent half chances. @Arsenal pretty dull to watch and despite all that is at stake the atmosphere in the Emirates was poor. Not a bad turnout for Burnley for a night game in London when already relegated, though it was quite good fun working out how many in our end were Arsenal fans pretending to be Burnley.

Since the FA Cup Final moved to the new Wembley Stadium in 2007, Finals featuring City have 6 of the 7 lowest attendances. They have failed to fill 25% of their allocation in all six Finals. The amount of games at Wembley isn't the problem, it's the size of the fanbase & club.
