@soirilab Bundling every dependency into a single app image isn't good design, but just efficient bloating. I'd rather have 10 package managers that actually handle shared libraries and clean up after themselves than a "simple" system that leaves digital confetti everywhere.

If I deliver a broken script to a freelance client and say 'that'll be another $250 for the patch,' I'm getting fired and blacklisted.

@yoxnol @Gasmcttv @katsudonsoup Copy-pasting a paper and changing one sentence is just sed or a find-and-replace. If I write a script once and change one line of code 24 times, I don't get to charge for 24 separate software builds.

@MaybeI20175 @Gasmcttv @katsudonsoup I animate for a living I think I know the process quite well, have you ever had to write a paper? imagine writing that paper 24 times over with a sentence in the paper being changed each time, pretty time consuming and I'd like to be paid well for that too.

@yoxnol @Gasmcttv @katsudonsoup Most of this is done on 'twos' or 'threes' (so 8-12 drawings max), and a huge chunk of it is just onion-skinning and tracing the previous frame with slight adjustments. You're paying for a flipbook of rough sketches, not 24 individual drawings.

@Gasmcttv @katsudonsoup 24 frames a second is 24 sketches, 24 linearts, 24 flat colors, and 24 shaded pieces. Getting 1 drawing for $10.50 is a steal.
