There was a discussion on #GMDC and I said I’d sell majority here if I were holding it. The other person was surprised because it had just given a roaring 6 month base breakout with gigantic volume.
“Then why sell?”
Because you are a swing trader. Not a long term investor.
50 to 60% upside is your bread and butter in most cases. This is crucial to set expectations right.
The stock was already up 47%.
If you don’t sell into strength, the stock will eventually force you to sell into weakness a few days or weeks later.
Most beginners think the breakout candle is the opportunity. Experienced traders know the move usually starts much before the obvious breakout appears on everyone’s screen.
Could it still go higher? Sure.
But swing trading is not about squeezing the last 10 to 20%.
It is about taking the fat middle safely and repeatedly.

1) Mcap - 1604 Cr
2) Beautiful Sales of 750 Cr
3) FV 1, which I don't like but Mcap is too small, particularly when Authum Invst and Infra take stake.
If Authum has not taken stake, I would have not discussed Mirc here at FV 1 stock..
4) Authum entry is a trigger for me, that they will turnaround MIRC ELECTRONICS ltd, like they did with Nitco Ltd.
5) MIRC and Nitco has similarity, both have excellent sales.
6) Authum Invst stake of 21.25% is no small stake. They invested around 131 Cr when Mcap was much less....Now putting 131 Cr is not for nothing. Rs 131 Cr is big, bigger then many SME Mcap!!

7) Co is going to raise fund via Equity, Warrants or QIP.
8) You are getting a Brand , Onida, for just 1600 Cr!!

Some people are criticising PM Modi's message from yesterday.
Well, simple math will tell you that the country is dealing with a fuel-cost issue. The bills aren't favourable, for the country.
So what does the PM do - tell people to do things which can help reduce those bills - travel local, use public transport when and where feasible, buy local things, etc . What is wrong in that?
This is an appeal, not a gun to your head. Do it if you think you can, and if you can take some hit (to finances and to preferences) for a short while. It will help the country, and in turn help you.

I’ve never seen retail investors this confident. Everyone looks exhausted and frustrated, yet no one is willing to give up. This very resilience is allowing FIIs to exit comfortably at elevated levels.
What’s missing, though, is a sober assessment of market reality. Given the losses, potential damage, and the cascading impact on future growth, Nifty arguably should have already corrected closer to 21,000, or could head there soon if the situation doesn’t improve in a week.
Are we really pricing things right, or just riding on sentiment?
