@JTGenter @AmericanAir I think it's a new policy. I was asked for ID at three AC visits at two airports last week.

Well, that's a first. When entering the DFW Flagship Lounge tonight, the @AmericanAir agent demanded to see our IDs - seemingly skeptical that we'd scanned our own boarding passes. When I asked if this was a new policy, she insisted that all lounge agents should be checking ID🙃

It seems Alaska Airlines finally implemented something it threatened to do in 2023: Eliminate the ability to print boarding passes using airport kiosks. You'll need to print your boarding pass at home or use the Alaska mobile app.

@JTGenter PS: Complimentary upgrades are now decoupled from C space/instrument upgrades (Miles, SWU, or BXP). Those can all be cleared if there is availability, though there is that waitlist issue. Comps come from an upgrade version of R, but there is no way to search or check R space.

AA folks: Have you seen C space (systemwide/mileage upgrade) available when your complimentary domestic upgrade hasn't cleared? Katie and I are 40 hours out from departure for ANC-ORD, and our comp upgrades haven't cleared, but there are 4x SWU upgrades. Never seen this before.

@JTGenter That is becoming quite common. What's more, is that you'll sometimes see upgrade-C space available when you already have SWUs requested. That situation requires a lengthy call for them to remove and re-request, otherwise it will just sit until it goes to the airport waitlist.
