@_DeejustDee This is so true. Just like me accepting scholarships just be to taught the same thing over and over again, it's boring and exhausting at times. I convince myself that since I don't have anything better to do at the moment, won't hurt to just show up, I might learn something new.

In My Opinion It’s quite commendable that few people keep getting opportunities to start a beginner course at different internships. As much as I feel like you’re taking yourself 65metres back, maybe an additional knowledge might help. But here’s my opinion: If I complete a beginner course somewhere, trust me I’m done with that phase. Sometimes I check program curriculum before applying to them, if they are taking me through what I already know, I won’t join in. I love noticeable progress because my target is to get a job, so if I keep serenading myself with beginner stuff all the time, when do I move? A few people have about 6 free internship for beginners on the Cv and that’s not solid neither does it count as an experience, it’s a learning experience. Sometimes I tell my clients to delete a few intangible ones so we can have enough space for other important points. My advice is, if you can make moves for yourself, take deliberate actions to move up the ladder. Don’t keep doing free beginner courses throughout the year and expect to be picked for an entry level role that requires 1-3years. How do you want to build up your skills when all you’ve done is “what is GRC and understanding ISOs” and maybe a few other concepts in that field? I feel people need to adopt my mindset but unfortunately what worked for me may not work for you. As long as each step feels like progress, then do you. We cheer to the good work later.
