Thanks goes to those who created the games and made these memories possible. I always feel that 80s and 90s games had more soul than modern games - whether that's me being nostalgic or not, doesn't really matter. What matters is that those games created memories in us that have lived on for decades... so they must have meant something :)

One thing I really like about the retro gaming community is that some of the legends who actually created the games we love are still active on Twitter and sometimes engage directly with fans. I find that fascinating - it's always great to hear their stories and first-hand memories from that era. A few I've seen are: Jordan Mechner (@jmechner) Andrew Braybrook (@UridiumAuthor) Sandy Petersen (@SandyofCthulhu) Richard Garriott (@RichardGarriott) I’m sure there are more, so if you know any others, please drop their handles in the comments. I'd love to follow them too! It would be awesome to see how many of these pioneers are still around and active here. Thanks for helping out and spreading the word!
