I genuinely believed that lowering my subscription price would bring in more subscribers. So I tested it. I dropped from $25 to $10 and watched what happened. My subscriber count did not change. I just left money on the table. The people who were not willing to pay $25 were also not willing to pay $10. Pricing yourself lower does not make you more desirable. It makes you interchangeable. You end up competing on the same shelf as everyone else, at a rate that costs you more than it earns. Charge based on what you put in, what you create, and what your audience has already shown they will pay. The floor was already higher than you thought.
