Corporate life will teach you that knowing the job is only half the battle. The real skill is staying calm in meetings, reading the room, managing ego, receiving vague feedback, and not replying to emails with your real thoughts and just being generally fake 8 hours a day for 40 year’s straight and not letting it drive you insane

🇺🇸 Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase, said it out loud:
Your kids will work 3.5 days a week. Live to 100. AI is going to cure cancer, stop car crashes, make new materials, save lives.
"Life will be better."
He's not a tech bro dreaming out loud. This man runs the money.

PRESIDENT TRUMP JUST SUBMITTED HIS STOCK PURCHASES/SALES TO THE WHITE HOUSE OFFICE OF ETHICS.
The document is over 100 pages and has thousands of trades.
This is one of the first times we've seen a sitting President actively trade securities and not just sit in corporate debt, index funds, or treasuries.
Here are some of the names that Trump bought:
$PLTR, $HOOD, $NVDA, $SOFI, $MSFT, $AAPL, $DIS, $V, $ULTA, $JPM, $COIN, $LYFT, $AMZN.

the craziest part about Cham that nobody talks about is how he actually got into this world. he wasnt born into money or connected to silicon valley at all. he literally just started showing up to tech conferences in like 2008-2009 as a rapper and people thought he was joking. he met Mark Suster at one of these events and they clicked, Suster was building Maker Studios and Cham put in $1.5 million of his own rap money. when Disney bought Maker in 2014 for $500M (with performance bonuses up to $950M) his payout was reportedly over $20 million. thats a 13x return on one bet.
but heres what really separates him. he didnt just get lucky once and coast. he put money into Cruise Automation in 2013 when it was literally a startup nobody heard of. three years later GM buys it for over a billion dollars. then Ring before Amazon scooped it for another billion+. then Lyft before they IPO'd.
in 2015 Upfront Ventures made him their entrepreneur-in-residence which was the first time a rapper had ever held that position at a major VC firm. and instead of just stacking his own bag he started running pitch competitions with E-40 and Daymond John specifically for minority and women founders. gave $100k to a trucking startup called Fleeting that won his competition.
his net worth is estimated around $50 million now and honestly the music money is probably the smallest piece of that. dude said it best in an interview once, he said he walked around the music industry for years and saw alot of rich people but never saw wealthy. got into tech and sees wealthy every single day. thats a fundamentally different understanding of money than 99% of artists ever develop

Fruits & vegetables likely account for a majority of people's dietary microplastic and PFAS intake.
What’s frustrating is that this isn’t something you can just rinse off. In many cases, the contamination appears to be taken up into the food itself.
Organic may reduce some of that exposure, but even organic farms can be affected when they’re near contaminated land or water.
Should you stop eating produce? No. We should be much more upset about how widespread these chemicals have become, especially when children are being exposed through foods we otherwise consider healthy.
One practical thing I think is worth considering is beta-glucan. There’s some evidence it may help support the excretion of PFAS, and given how unavoidable these exposures are becoming, that may be a useful tool, especially for families who can’t realistically eliminate every source.
