@ThePeterBriggs @frankcottrell_b @stephenfry I've just started reading these to my son who is 7. Wasn't sure he would take to them (I never read them and we can't really relate to a prep school in the 50s), but he loves them. On the third book in fast succession

@frankcottrell_b Way too many. As somebody from a Northwest Comprehensive with no frame of reference, I loved the "Jennings" books (@stephenfry!), although nobody's been reading those since an asteroid wiped out the dinosaurs. Ditto "Famous Five". I must go and have lashings of ginger beer now.
