The government did not provide them with any aid or rehabilitation assistance and refused to take responsibility for climate disasters and the damage caused by these disasters. The KS community was largely abandoned by the government to fend for themselves.

KS Community witnessed mass destruction of their homes when the entire villages submerged in flood waters & KS community members were forced to migrate to big cities for livelihood leaving behind ancestral lands & pushed to live in extremely bad condition & worse quality of life.

Last night was torturous for @IsmatShahjahan and others who were illegally arrested by the @ICT_Police courtesy of the evil @CDAthecapital. Both Ismat and her 65-year-old husband were beaten up with sticks. A lot of innocent people from a pind in D-12 were arrested.
