Tuesday was launch day for the M3’s Community Project. This will be my first experience with the IB community project, and in guiding students through a long term service learning experience. Excited to see the impact they will have 🤗 @TISABaku

7 years at @gems_daa has come to a close. Leaving my community at @DaaMiddle was a hard decision to make, however, we are so excited for the journey to come. I will be joining @TISABaku in August as an I&S teacher and Head of Year for MY 2 and 3. AZ here we come!

Our first international Week Without Walls trip post-pandemic was such a success! I spent 8 days in Nepal with 47 middle school students hiking, climbing, abseiling, adventuring, learning, and bonding. What an exhausting but exhilarating week ☺️ @DaaMiddle @gems_daa @CampsInt

So much representation from the @DaaMiddle Social Studies department in the Dubai Marathon this morning! Dorothy and I participated in the 10k run, while Kevin casually crushed another marathon @gems_daa

We made 3D museums to showcase what we learned about the founding of the Arabian Peninsula, and how both Geography and Religion influenced the region. I love seeing a different side of the kids’ creative brains 🤓 @gems_daa @DaaMiddle #sschat

To improve wellbeing this Ramadan, school timings have changed. In line with students’ recommendations, schools will start at ‘whenever’ and finish at ‘soon after that’. Staying awake is optional for both students and teachers.
