Five men have been sentenced for a so-called ‘wrench attack’, kidnapping a City worker from Hertfordshire and stealing more than £10,000 from his bank and cryptocurrency accounts. The five appeared at St Albans Crown Court for sentencing they were: Brandon Stephenson, aged 25, of Ilford, east London, was jailed for five and a half years. He was also ordered to pay £300 to the victim under a deprivation order. Jason Kareem, aged 23, of southeast London, was jailed for a total of six years and six months.
