Amazon is worth $2 trillion. But it didn't deign to pay the millions of dollars it racked up in unpaid fines as its’ trucks illegally polluted our air and forced New Yorkers to breathe in their exhaust.
We collected every dollar they owe the people of this city — and will continue to hold them accountable. In New York, corporations are held to the same standard as everyone else.
No company — no matter how large or powerful — is above the law.

California did an investigation to see if oil companies were price gauging and found no evidence of it.

@dpatten11 @BlackBeltTroll @joinautopilot Idc what MAGA thinks? It’s what the reality is and Norway is not a communist country idiot
English

Breaking: The Trump administration just committed $2,000,000,000 to quantum computing companies in exchange for equity stakes
This is why the White House Asset Management Portfolio exists
Majority of them are public and are surging right now:
• Infleqtion $INFQ +30%
• D-Wave Quantum $QBTS +24%
• Rigetti $RGTI +23%
• GlobalFoundries $GFS +11%
• IBM $IBM +7%

English

@BlackBeltTroll @joinautopilot Like like a wealth fund? Is Norway a communist country?
English

@joinautopilot So now its cool for the government to own companies? Whatever happened to "communism is bad?"

If you backed @RepThomasMassie because he challenged war, defended liberty, respected constitutional limits, and refused to bow to political strongmen, you are not politically homeless.
You are just closer to libertarianism than the Republican Party ever wanted you to realize.
English

@Jason_MI5 @EingeLtrade @JonErlichman The only change that Trump has done is proposed a semiannual report, and it hasn’t even passed at all or been introduced into Congress. Idk what you’re talking about lol
English

@Jason_MI5 @EingeLtrade @JonErlichman I don’t think any business really discloses these💀. Why is this so important 😭. “We want to know every subsidy you have and the exact cost offset or rate.” They report earnings go ask their accountant bud
English

@MullyJZ @EingeLtrade @JonErlichman Right, they may not show up as “profit” directly.
But they still affect the economics — either by reducing tax expense, offsetting costs, or improving cash flow. That’s why I’m asking for the breakdown. If the impact is minor, Nvidia can say so plainly.
English

@Jason_MI5 @EingeLtrade @JonErlichman If I’m not mistaken they wouldn’t make a profit from those at all, those are all subsidies.
English

@MullyJZ @EingeLtrade @JonErlichman Fair point — then Nvidia should break it out cleanly.
How much of the profit print came from actual operating leverage, and how much came from FDII, R&D credits, CHIPS incentives, and other tax/subsidy treatment?
If it’s immaterial, disclose it plainly.
English

@Jason_MI5 @EingeLtrade @JonErlichman It’s not heavily reduced at all, they pay a rate of about 15.5% or 19 billion dollars. Most of their subsidies came from the chips and science act.
English

@EingeLtrade @JonErlichman “Easy” is doing a lot of work when billions in tax shields are part of the story.
STFU isn’t an argument.
English

@lex_324 @kmcgee3000 @WatcherGuru Ill give you something simple to think of, if Nividia has to make more chips what do you think they need?
English

@MullyJZ @kmcgee3000 @WatcherGuru What exactly did that trip accomplish for regular American citizens? They weren't used as leverage against China.. rather, China used their interest in the Chinese market as leverage against Trump. Every single one of those CEOs depend on China for manufacturing and equipment

BREAKING: China has explicitly informed the US that it recognizes Iran's "exercise of sovereignty" over the Strait of Hormuz, contradicting the White House readout of the Trump-Xi summit that claimed Xi opposed Iranian "militarization" of the Strait and any "toll" for its use, per a source close to Iranian Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf.
More than 10 Chinese ships have successfully transited under Iran's Persian Gulf Strait Authority permit system in the past two days.

@SecScottBessent @SenateGOP @POTUS @federalreserve Need a hawkish fed chairmen and higher interest rates, the Iran inflation problem is unreal
English

Today @SenateGOP, along with the Democrat who put country before political ideology, confirmed @POTUS's nominee Kevin Warsh as the next Chairman of the @FederalReserve. Chairman Warsh will usher in a new day at an institution that is in need of accountability, sound policy guidance, and the renewed sense of purpose to help guide our economy. His chairmanship opens the door and lays the groundwork for every American family to build and grow in the world's greatest economy.
